Starting from July 29th,
the Asia·Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) hosted a 'APEC Cyber
Education Cooperation International Workshop' in order to 'Narrow
down the Digital Divide.' The workshop was held for 3 days at
Seoul TEMF Hotel (Seoul Education Culture Center). 12 nations
associated with and over 50 experts in the field of education
participated in this workshop. |

Professor Kim Young-Hwan of Pusan University, chairman of ACEC (APEC Cyber Education Cooperation), founded the "Institute for APEC Cyber Education (IACE)" on Dec 6th, 2002. Professor Kim has been appointed chairman and secretary-general and has received the full support of the Korean Ministry of Education. |
