|Title ALCOB Technology
Camp
|Purpose
General Objectives :
1.To encourage mutual understanding of diversities among ALCoB participants
about ICT development in schools
2. To share experience, knowledge & skills among ALCoBs participants.
Specific Objectives :
1.1 To build ALCoB community network becomes more solid.
1.2 To maintain relationship ALCoB participants among member countries.
2.1. To identify the problem of ICT development in school
2.2. To assist in finding the solving problem of ICT development in school
|Contents/ Methods/ Activities
A. Preliminary actions:
1. Promoting the project by on-line & off-line to ALCoB member countries
2. Build the network through mailing list
3. Keep maintaining the communication among the members of mailing list.
4. Identify & classify skills & knowledge of participants in mastery
in ICT.
5. Mapping the problem of ICT development in school.
6. Online invitation for some schools of the host country, which have
the problem of ICT.
7. Set up the plan and strategies for action
8. Delivery the information, plan & action to participants to get
some inputs, ideas, suggestions, & solutions from other participants.
9. On line discussion prior to carry out the Camp.
10. Preparing all of the needs for carrying out of the Camp (accommodation,
facilities both indoor & outdoor activities, software, hardware, other
ICT tools, etc.).
B.
During the Camp
1. Creating togetherness & understanding to each other through Out
Bond activities (game, quiz, individual & team work task).
2. Seminar by inviting of ICT expert form the member countries of ALCoB
3. Carry out of workshop by dividing into 3 group of ICT skills (WD, TS,
Mltd)
4. Delivery the task group to selected schools based on the problem
5. Observation to the selected schools
6. Take action to help selected school as the target.
7. Report & evaluate the action of each group.
8. Strengthen the mutual understanding among the participant by inserting
culture event.
|Expected Results
1. Strengthen the understanding, awareness & cooperation among participants
in term of ICT development in school.
2. Keep maintaining the network
3. Empower the awareness of the observed schools to integrating ICT in
their schools as other schools did (both in their country & other
member countries).
4. The same case found & implemented during the Camp can be shared
to other schools of each country.

1. Preparation starting from February (after the announcement of the IACE):
5 months
2. It is expected can be conducted in 2004
(around July ? Augst)
2. Duration of activities: 1 week
